"There is a certain enthusiasm in liberty, that makes human nature rise above itself, in acts of bravery and heroism." ~Alexander Hamilton
HAMILTON COUNTY GOLD STAR heroesFreedom is not free and Hamilton County knows the cost of that freedom all to well. Our Gold Star Families are our most valuable citizens, because they have personally felt the cost of war. We especially remember them on Memorial Day observed every year on the last Monday of May. |
Hamilton County veteransMen and Women have answered the call of duty and called Hamilton County their home since the American Revolution. We thank them for their service every day but are particularly thankful on Veterans Day observed annually on November 11. |
Hamilton county troopsWe are so proud of our Hamilton County Men and Women who are currently serving in the Armed Forces on Active Duty, in the Reserves, and in the National Guard. As a grateful nation we are always in gratitude of these brave Men and Women but honor them Nationally on the third Saturday in May. |
Courthouse MemorialsSince being built in 1937, the Hamilton County Courthouse has become the home of many memorials dedicated to our Service Members and Veterans. |
